Two local residents won Kindle e-readers through the Seattle Public Library’s 2012 Adult and Teen Summer Reading Programs. Participants entered their name to win a Kindle e-reader for every three books read and reviewed.

From the Douglass-Truth Library, the winner is Reina Buchanan. Anne Machonis won from the Madrona-Sally Goldmark branch.

The Seattle Public Library’s 2012 Summer Reading Program ran from June through August. The annual program encourages everyone to read during the summer and features free programs for children, teens and adults.
