Permit applications

1819 26TH AVE. (3015659) for a Land Use Application to allow a two-unit structure in an environmentally critical area. Surface parking for two vehicles to be provided. Existing single-family residence to be demolished. The following approval is required: SEPA environmental determination. (This project is subject to the Optional DNS Process (WAC 197-11-355) and Early DNS Process (SMC 25.05.355). This comment period may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of this proposal. Building and demolition permits may be needed but were not included in this application. Written comments accepted through Wednesday, Aug. 14.

 

Permit decisions

122 27TH AVE. E. (3014903) on a Land Use Application to subdivide one development site into three unit lots. The construction of residential units has been approved under Project No. 6335593. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots. The following appealable decision has been made based on submitted plans: Short Subdivision to create three unit lots granted. The hearing examiner must receive appeals of this decision no later than Monday, Aug. 12.

 

Design reviews

208 25TH AVE. E. (3015430) of a five-unit townhouse structure. Surface parking for three vehicles to be provided. Existing structure to be removed.

The DPD director will accept written comments to assist in the preparation of the early design guidance through Wednesday, Aug. 14, 2013. Comments regarding important site planning and design issues that should be addressed in the design for this project are welcome. This is the only opportunity to comment on this proposal. Comments should be submitted to PRC@seattle.gov or City of Seattle, DPD, PRC, 700 Fifth Ave., Suite 2000, P.O. Box 34019, Seattle, WA 98124-4019

Following the public comment period, the DPD will issue a written design-guidance report. This report will consider public comment and the applicable citywide and neighborhood-specific design guidelines and will serve as the basis for further review of the building permit. Once the applicant has incorporated the design guidance into the proposal they may apply for a building permit. No public notice of the building permit application will be provided.
