Permit applications

3217 E. SPRING ST. (3016315) for a Land Use Application to subdivide one parcel into two parcels of land. Existing structures to be demolished. The following approval is required: Short Subdivision to create two parcels of land. Water Availability Certificate and demolition permit may be needed but were not included in this application. Written comments accepted through Wednesday, Dec. 4.

206 26TH AVE. E. (3015685) for a Land Use Application to allow one two-unit townhouse structure, one three-unit townhouse structure and one single-family residence for a total of six units in an environmentally critical area. Surface parking for three vehicles to be provided. Review will include future Unit Lot Subdivision. Existing single-family residence to be demolished. The following approvals are required: Streamlined Design Review; SEPA environmental determination. (This project is subject to the Optional DNS Process (WAC 197-11-355) and Early DNS Process (SMC 25.05.355). This comment period may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of this proposal.) Building and demolition permits may be needed but were not included in this application. Appeal hearings

922 McGILVRA BLVD. E. (3014269) on Land Use Code Interpretation 12-006 regarding whether proposed “bubbles” over outdoor tennis courts are regulated as development or structures for purposes of Shoreline standards for nonconforming uses. The following interpretation has been appealed: Proposed “bubbles” over outdoor tennis courts are considered an expansion of a nonconforming use. The appeal hearing will take place Dec. 16 at 9 a.m.
