Annika DiNovi has joined the Parkshore senior living community as its new executive director.

Nonprofit owner and operator Transforming Age states DiNovi has more than a decade of nonprofit senior living leadership experience, having most recently served as operations director for CRISTA Senior Living in Shoreline and Silverdale.

DiNovi has a bachelor of arts degree in psychology from Trinity Western University and masters in counseling psychology from Northwest University.

DiNovi has a 101-year-old grandfather that still lives independently, whom she credits for her passion for working with seniors, according to a Transforming Age news release.

“He’s an amazing man, still physically active, mentally sharp and full of incredible wisdom – he is living proof that age is just a number,” DiNovi said  in the release. “I consider it a privilege to work in an industry that places such value on seniors and encourages purposeful living no matter what the age.”

Transforming Age operates 15 senior living communities in Washington, Nebraska and Minnesota.

The 55-year-old Parkshore high-rise is currently in the final phase of a $30 million renovation in Madison Park, overlooking Lake Washington.

“Annika is a great addition to our team,” said Transforming Age regional director of operations Kevin McNamara in the news release. “Her leadership experience in nonprofit senior living combined with her clear passion for our mission will be an invaluable resource to our organization as we continue to build a network that improves the lives of older adults.”
