Permit applications
309 31ST AVE. E. (3017185) for a Land Use Application to change the use of existing administrative office at 309 31st Ave. E. to classroom. Existing building to be replaced with a larger building. The administrative office will be relocated to an existing building located at 318 30th Ave. E. (Valley School). The following approval is required: Administrative Conditional Use to change the use from administrative office to classroom in a SF 5000 zone. Building permit may be needed but was not included in this application. Written comments accepted through July 16.
Permit decisions
225 27TH AVE. E. (3016873) on a Land Use Application to subdivide one development site into three unit lots in an environmentally critical area. The construction of residential units has been approved under Project No. 6363478. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots. The following appealable decisions have been made based on submitted plans: Unit Lot Subdivision to create three unit lots granted; Determination of Non-Significance (no Environmental Impact Statement required). Environmental review completed, and no conditions imposed. This DNS is issued using the optional DNS process in WAC 197.11.355 and SMC 25.05.355. The comment period was originally published on March 20, 2014, and there is no further comment period on this DNS. The hearing examiner must receive appeals of this decision no later than July 14.
