The city’s Department of Planning and Development (DPD) provided the following information.

Permit decisions
1729 25TH AVE. (3018241) on a Land Use Application to allow two single-family residences in an environmentally critical area. Surface parking for two vehicles to be provided. Existing single-family residence to be demolished. Environmental Review includes future unit-lot subdivision. The following appealable decision has been made based on submitted plans: Determination of Non-Significance (no Environmental Impact Statement required). Environmental review completed, and no conditions imposed. This DNS is issued using the optional DNS process in WAC 197.11.355 and SMC 25.05.355. The comment period was originally published on Sept. 18, 2014, and there is no further comment period on this DNS. The hearing examiner must receive appeals of this decision no later than Dec. 1.
Design reviews
2307 43RD AVE. E. (3018565) of a three-unit residential structure. Parking for six vehicles to be provided.
The DPD director will accept written comments to assist in the preparation of the Early Design Guidance through Dec. 3, 2014. Comments regarding site planning and design issues for this project are welcome. Comments should be submitted to PRC@seattle.gov or City of Seattle, DPD, PRC, 700 Fifth Ave., Suite 2000, P.O. Box 34019, Seattle, WA 98124-4019.
Following the public comment period, the DPD will issue a written design guidance report. This report will consider public comment and the applicable citywide and neighborhood specific Design Guidelines and will serve as the basis for further review of the building permit. Once the applicant has incorporated the design guidance into the proposal they may apply for a building permit. No public notice of the building permit application will be provided.
