Leschi students Discover Dance

Students from Leschi Elementary School (135 32nd Ave.) rehearse for Pacific Northwest Ballet’s (PNB) Discover Dance community performance. 

The fall Discover Dance community performance on Nov. 15 was the culmination of PNB’s large-scale education and outreach project involving almost 400 elementary and middle school students from four elementary and middle schools, including Leschi. 

The performance included original works created in residencies by the students and their PNB teaching artists. Also featured in the performance were REACH Student Dance Group (an outreach program for youth ages 12 to 15), the Broadview Thomson Student Musicians and PNB company dancers.
