#The Central Area Senior Center will present “Celebrate and Renew: A Benefit Concert” on Oct. 19, from 3 to 6 p.m., at the Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute (401 17th Ave. S.).
#The lineup for the benefit concert includes Deems Tsutakawa, C.T. Thompson, Shanee Dawkins, Ashanti Proctor, Siahna, Big Luv, Danelle Hays, Dwayne D’Arby and Funk E Fusion as the stage band.
#Tickets are available online at www.centralareasrcenter.org or at the center (500 30th Ave. S.).
#Memberships can also be renewed or purchased. Those who purchase a membership or renew an old one will be entered into a raffle drawing. Prizes include tickets to the Green Dolphin Lounge, featuring Debbie Cavitt, on Nov. 21, and Surround Sound Band, on Dec. 19.
