Appeals are made to the Office of the Hearing Examiner, Seattle Municipal Tower, 40th Floor (SMT-40-00), 700 Fifth Ave., Suite 4000, Seattle, WA 98104. Appeals must be accompanied by a $50 filing fee in a check payable to the City of Seattle.

Permit applications

1729 25TH AVE. (3018241) for a Land Use Application to allow two single-family residences in an environmentally critical area. Surface parking for two vehicles to be provided. Existing single-family residence to be demolished. Environmental review includes future unit-lot subdivision. The following approval is required: SEPA environmental determination (This project is subject to the Optional DNS Process (WAC 197-11-355) and Early DNS Process (SMC 25.05.355). This comment period may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of this proposal. Building and demolition permits may be needed but were not included in this application. Written comments accepted through Oct. 1.

Permit decisions

2808 E. UNION ST. (3017936) for a Land Use Application to subdivide one development site into three unit lots. The construction of residential units is under Project No. 6390399. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots. The following appealable decision has been made based on submitted plans: Short Subdivision to create three unit lots granted. The hearing examiner must receive appeals of this decision no later than Oct. 2.
