Madison Park family named Outstanding Philanthropists

Stan and Michele Rosen’s family, who live in Madison Park, were named Outstanding Philanthropic Family. The family’s philanthropic efforts trace back to Herbert and Rita Rosen, who made it their lives’ mission to give back. Herb served as the president of the Stroum Jewish Community Center and the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle and as a founder of the Jewish Day School of Metropolitan Seattle.

Stan and Michele’s community service and philanthropic leadership spans across the Puget Sound region, with a focus on creating opportunities for youths, improving educational resources and fostering community. Stan is a fundraising ambassador for United Way of King County. Michele is on the board of the national American Jewish Joint Distribution Committee.

The Rosen’s children and grandchildren are following in their parents’ and grandparents’ footsteps by also leading philanthropic lives.
