More than 1,400 registered events took place last year.
As of Sunday, Aug. 2, six Night Out events were registered with the Seattle Police Department:
•31st Avenue Block Party, between East Terrace and Jefferson Streets, from 6 to 9 p.m.;
•32nd Avenue East Block Party, between the 1000 and 2000 blocks of 32nd Avenue East, from 6 to 9 p.m.;
•Dearborn–28th/29th, on South Dearborn Street between 28th and 29th avenues South, from 6 to 9 p.m.;
•Denny/27th/Howell Night Out Block Party, on 27th Avenue East between Denny and Howell streets, from 6 to 9 p.m.;
•East Helen Street Night Out Potluck, at 25th Avenue East and East Helen Street; and
•Night Out Block Watch Party, in the 700 block of 31st Avenue, from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m.
To register a Night Out event and have the street closed for it, or to view registered Night Out events, visit www.seattle.gov/police/nightout. Registration will close at 5 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 3.
