Preschool fair to highlight local programs

Families can explore the early learning options in their community and find the right fit for their child at an upcoming community preschool fair sponsored by ParentMap, featuring more than 150 participating preschools.

Programs include Montessori, Waldorf, Reggio Emilia, nature-focused, foreign language immersion, co-ops and independent schools offering preschool entry.

The Central Seattle Preschool Fair will take place on Jan. 18, from 2 to 4 p.m., at Mount Baker Community Club (2811 Mount Rainier Drive S.). Participating schools include Capitol Hill Cooperative Preschool, Mount Baker Preschool, Bright Horizons, Bright! Preschool, Denise Louise, Epiphany Early Learning Preschool, French Mornings Preschool, Giddens School, La Maternelle de Seattle, Le Petit Village French Immersion School, Seattle Classical Christian School, Seattle’s Progressive Preschool, Sponge, The Language Link, The Secret Garden Preschool and Westside School.

Those who register in advance will be entered to win a $1,000 grand prize from Morgan Stanley (must attend to be eligible; additional rules apply).
