The Central Area Chamber of Commerce will host “Emerging Artists: Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow,” a tribute to Black History Month, on Feb. 21.
The event is in remembrance of Woody Woodhouse, Joe Brazil, Floyd Standifer, Charles Benjamin and Darylen Smith.
The event — which will take place from 2:30 to 6 p.m. at The 2100 Building (2100 24th Ave. S.) — will showcase positive images of the African-American lifestyle through visual arts, performance arts, literary and humanities.
A $10 donation is requested for admission.
