Suspect sought in Washington Park home burglary

The Seattle Police Department has released a sketch of a suspect who is said to have tied up a woman inside her Washington Park home in the early morning hours of June 20.

The victim said the suspect is 5 feet 10 inches tall, with a medium build, and has dark curly hair.

According to the SPD Blotter, the victim told officers she awoke around 4 a.m. to find the suspect in her bedroom. He demanded access to a safe and then tied her up. He stole jewelry and cash.

He then fled the woman’s home in the 400 block of 39th Avenue East in a white vehicle, possibly a Chevrolet.
