The city’s Department of Planning and Development (DPD) provided the following information.
Appeals are made to the Office of the Hearing Examiner, Seattle Municipal Tower, 40th Floor (SMT-40-00), 700 Fifth Ave., Suite 4000, Seattle, WA 98104. Appeals must be accompanied by a $50 filing fee in a check payable to the City of Seattle.

Permit decisions
217 23RD AVE. E. (3018441) on a Land Use Application to subdivide one development site into three unit lots. The construction of residential units is under Project No. 6404983. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots. The following appealable decision has been made based on submitted plans: Unit Lot Subdivision to create three unit lots granted. The hearing examiner must receive appeals of this decision no later than March 19.
Design reviews
2305 E. MADISON ST. (3015490) of a four-story residential structure containing 50 units above retail space. Surface parking for 13 vehicles to be provided.
An application for Design Review related to future development of this site has been submitted to the Department of Planning and Development (DPD). This second stage of Design Review is the Recommendation phase. At the Design Review Board Recommendation meeting, the following occurs:
•The applicant will present information about the proposed design and how it responds
to the Design Review Guideline priorities established at the previous Early Design Guidance meeting(s).
•The public may offer comments regarding the proposed design.
•The Design Review Board will offer their recommendations regarding the design to DPD.
Following the meeting, DPD will issue a written Recommendation report summarizing the meeting. This report will be sent to those who signed in at the meeting otherwise requested a copy.
The meeting will take place on March 25 at 6:30 p.m. at Seattle University’s Admissions & Alumni Community Building (824 12th Ave.) in the Stuart T. Rolfe Room.
The DPD director will accept written comments to assist in the preparation of the Early Design Guidance through March 25. Comments regarding important site planning and design issues for this project are welcome.
