DASSdance to present ‘TeXtURE’

Madison Valley-based DASSdance presents “TeXtURE,” a new dance theater work created with installation art, spoken narrative, lighting sculptures and All-Terrain Dance.

Producing artistic director and founder Daniel Wilkins created “TeXtURE” as a performance with “no idea,” following his instincts, he said of the work, without having an “overriding concept.”

The show also features DASSdancers Brittany Falso, Bojohn Diciple, Elise Landles, Dade Glaser, Anthony Gamroth and Jasmine Wright.

The show will take place at the Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center (3201 E. Republican St.) on Nov. 14 at 8 p.m., with an opening-night gala that evening. Another performance will take place Nov. 15 at 5 p.m.

Admission is free, though a suggested donation of $20 is requested. To reserve tickets, visit texture.bpt.me.
