The bridge will temporarily close to drivers for up to 30 minutes at a time from 2:30 to 5 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, while Washington State Department of Transportation bridge maintenance crews open and close the drawspan for testing.
The monthly work is to ensure the drawspan operates properly.
Electronic message signs on highways leading to the bridge will advise drivers of the delays. Drivers can choose an alternate route to cross or go around Lake Washington, such as Interstates 90 and 405 or state Route 522.
