Program to continue gun violence discussion

Grandmothers Against Gun Violence, founded in Madison Park, will host its fourth in a series of programs on gun violence, gun safety and gun responsibility. The program will take place from 10 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Mount Zion Baptist Church (1634 19th Ave.).

Seattle Crisis Clinic volunteer services manager Letha Myers will speak on how her agency works to reduce and defuse crises.

Afterward, lobbyist Rebecca Alredge will join representatives from the state House and Senate for a discussion about upcoming gun legislation in the 2016 state legislative session.

Admission is free.
