Community center classes in Madrona

Garfield Community Center (2323 E. Cherry St.) started offering after-school classes at the Madrona Shelterhouse (3211 E. Spring St.) in early November. Classes include repurposed art and karate for third- through fifth-graders, homework help and activities and empowered art.
