Madison Park resident Kathleen O’Connor, publisher of The O’Connor Report (oconnorreport.com), has been appointed to the Rhode Island-based Patient Voice Institute’s Patient Advisory Council.
O’Connor is a patient and consumer advocate, author and speaker who has spent more than 30 years working to help the public address quality, access and cost issues in the health care system.
In 2003, O’Connor sponsored a $10,000 contest to engage the public in health reform, which led to founding the nonprofit CodeBlueNow! (www.codeblueNow.org).
