Permit applications
1106 34TH AVE. (3020405) for a Council Land Use Action to rezone a portion of land from LR2 to NC1-30 and a portion of land from LR2 to LR3. The property is bounded on the south by East Spring Street, to the west by 34th Avenue, to the north by a commercial building at 1112 34th Ave. and to the east by an unimproved alley adjacent to 1101 35th Ave. The following approvals are required: Council Rezone to rezone a portion of land from LR2 to NC1-30 and from LR2 to LR3; SEPA environmental determination. (This project is subject to the Optional DNS Process (WAC 197-11-355) and Early DNS Process (SMC 25.05.355). This comment period may be the only opportunity to comment on the environmental impacts of this proposal.) Building permits may be needed but was not included in this application. Permit decisions
838 28TH AVE. S. (3016775) on a Land Use Application to allow a four-unit rowhouse with parking for four vehicles in ground-floor garages in an environmentally critical area. Environmental Review includes future unit lot subdivision. The following appealable decision has been made based on submitted plans: Determination of Non-Significance (no Environmental Impact Statement required). Environmental review completed, and no conditions imposed. This DNS is issued using the optional DNS process in WAC 197.11.355 and SMC 25.05.355. The comment period was originally published on Feb. 13, 2014, and there is no further comment period on this DNS. The hearing examiner must receive appeals of this decision no later than Nov. 5.
