Metro on holiday schedule for Labor Day

In observance of Labor Day, King County Metro Transit will operate a Sunday/holiday schedule on Monday, Sept. 7.

If your bus does not normally operate on a Sunday, it will not operate on Monday. The holiday schedule means that many commuter bus routes will not be in service that day. Bus riders should check the schedule for their routes, as well as scheduled event and construction reroutes.

Sunday fares are in effect on all Metro serviceĀ on Labor Day.

Metro offices, including the Customer Information Office, will close on Monday. Most transit information and the trip planner are available on Metro Online: metro.kingcounty.gov.

While Metro is not operating shuttles or other special or additional service for Bumbershoot at Seattle Center over the holiday weekend, there is plenty of regularly scheduled transit service that serves the festival.

Routes 1, 2, 3, 4, 8, 13, 24, 32, 33 and the RapidRide D Line serve Seattle Center directly, while routes 5, 16, 26, 28, 40 and the RapidRide E Line go to within a few blocks. The RapidRide C Line from West Seattle continues downtown as the D Line to Seattle Center.
