[Regarding the April 2016 editorial “’Man in Tree’ no shade from Seattle mindset”:] Taking issue with the statement: “Man in Tree also showed Seattleites our own apathy toward the world around us.” And earlier in the [editorial], you compared the interest in the man in the tree to not much disruption/animation for the Clinton visit to Seattle.
Perhaps there is apathy for Clinton, but the response of Seattle to the two Bernie Sanders rallies: Key Arena, 17,000 inside and an equal number outside, and Safeco Field, 17,000 inside and again a very large number outside (and that second rally was the second that week) — I wouldn’t call Seattle’s reaction to Bernie Sanders apathetic, and I question how come you managed to not think or mention him when talking about Seattle’s recent events or attitudes?
