The Central Area Chamber of Commerce will bring its third-annual Black History Month Celebration to the Martin Luther King/FAME Community Center (3201 E. Republican St.) on Feb. 20.
From 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., guests can enjoy “The Music, The Times, The Era” of doo-wop and Motown in an intergenerational gathering to share stories, music, dance and games.
Special guests include Seattle gospel and jazz singer Grace Holden, whose father, Oscar Holden, is considered the patriarch of Seattle jazz.
