The city’s Department of Construction & Inspections (DCI) provided the following information. Written comments on projects should be mailed to 700 Fifth Ave., Suite 2000, P.O. Box 34019, Seattle, WA 98124-4019.

Appeals are made to the Office of the Hearing Examiner, Seattle Municipal Tower, 40th Floor (SMT-40-00), 700 Fifth Ave., Suite 4000, Seattle, WA 98104. An $85 filing fee in a check payable to the City of Seattle must accompany appeals.

Permit applications

457 39TH AVE. E. (3022104) for a Land Use Application to allow a new three-story, single-family dwelling unit in an environmentally critical area. Parking for one vehicle to be located within the structure. The following approval is required: Variance to allow development in a steep slope area. Building permit may be needed but was not included in this application. Written comments accepted through April 3.

 

Permit decisions

118 27TH AVE. E. (3022518) on a Land Use Application to subdivide one development site into three unit lots. The construction of residential units is under Project No. 6403048. This subdivision of property is only for the purpose of allowing sale or lease of the unit lots. Development standards will be applied to the original parcel and not to each of the new unit lots. The following appealable decision has been made based on submitted plans: Unit Lot Subdivision to create three unit lots granted. The hearing examiner must receive appeals of this decision no later than April 7.
