Madison Valley Community Council seeks writers for new blog

To accompany its new website, the Madison Valley Community Council is looking for writers to blog about Madison Valley.

The council launched its new website, MadisonValleyCommunityCouncil.org, in January.

Previously, the council had a dedicated page on MadisonValley.org. That website also features dining, business and tourism information, and continues to operate an active blog.

Dana Hanna, vice president of the Community Council, wrote on the nonprofit’s Facebook page Feb. 20 that the blog sought non-opinion writers who could deliver copy on local news and happenings.

“We need pieces about our community that have not been published previously elsewhere,” Hanna wrote.
