Madison Valley Community Council elections on May 15

The Madison Valley Community Council will holds its annual election of officers and board members at the MLK FAME Center on Tuesday, May 15.

Anyone residing within the MVCC’s service area is eligible to run or vote. President Penelope Karovsky and secretary Diane Zahn are running for another one-year term, and treasurer and vice president positions remain vacant. Sally Van Over is running for treasurer.

The MVCC board is currently led by Sarah Tretheway, Jennifer Goodwin, Ron Flynn, Kevin Murphy and Patty McDonald.

The annual meeting will take place at 7 p.m. Tuesday, May 15, in the community room of the MLK FAME Center, 3201 E. Republican St. Additional agenda items will be released a week prior to the meeting.
