Seattle City Council District 3 candidates Kshama Sawant and Egan Orion will face off during a CityClub debate at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, at Town Hall Seattle, which is collaborating with CityClub for the election series.
The debate will be moderated by a journalist from KING 5, with KUOW and KOMO reporters providing additional questions.
Sawant, who is seeking a third term on the council — a second representing District 3 — received 36.71 percent of the primary votes in August. Orion, the director for Seattle PrideFest and formerly of the now-defunct Capitol Hill Chamber of Commerce, took 21.49 percent of the vote.
