Magnolia resident Eva Gianutsos made the most of a recent haircut: she donated 14 inches of ponytail to Locks of Love, a nonprofit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantaged children suffering from hair loss for any reason. Three years ago she donated a similar amount of hair. Wielding the shears was Alexandria Slider, owner/stylist of Soul the Salon (2508 Fifth Ave.), who donated her time for a good cause.
