Chamber enjoys successful evening on Puget Sound

Friday evening, Aug. 24, 200 guests, members and patrons of the Greater Queen Anne Chamber of Commerce sailed on glorious Puget Sound celebrating their second annual Sounds of Summer Mardi Gras Cruise.

The Mardi Gras partying included live music by Swamp Soul, the talents of tarot card reader Raven Bella Zingaro, magic by Jack Turk and other memorable entertainment. Fine dining was provided by some of Queen Anne's best restaurants, including Dick's, Best Western Executive Inn, Lucky Palate, Ponti Seafood Grill, Nielsen's Pastries, Outback Steakhouse, Sport Bar and Grill and Ten Mercer.

The Chamber thanks major sponsor Vulcan Inc., which joined Abacus Mortgage, Amgen, Bleitz Funeral Home, Burkheimer Management, Emerald Bay Escrow, GM Nameplate, HomeStreet Bank, Iron Mountain, Merrill Gardens, Midlakes Insurance, Port of Seattle, Queen Anne Books, Togawa Insurance and Windemere/McGraw Street in sponsoring this event.

The evening raised funds for the Queen Anne Helpline, Sacred Heart Shelter, CityTeam Ministries and the Chamber.

"A good time was had by all, and people are already booking next year's cruise," said GQACC executive director Margaret Irvine.[[In-content Ad]]
