City Critters: Meet Breezy

A few weeks ago, Karen Clark's 8-year-old Australian shepherd, Tango, was struck by a Metro bus and instantly killed. The dog was Clark's life in many ways. She trained him and loved him. For days after the tragedy, which she witnessed, Clark was an emotional and physical wreck. Finally Clark, who lives in Queen Anne, called a friend who had the number of the breeder where Clark first found Tango. Clark told the breeder the situation and the breeder said she had just what Clark was looking for. Sure enough, there she was, Breezy, the half-sister of Tango. "She is so sweet, such a cuddlebunny," Clark said. "I was out of my mind and she saved my life."
