Despite an announcement that it would close at the end of August (as reported in last week's issue of the Herald-Outlook), the Cobblestone Used Furniture store is keeping its doors open for a while longer.Owners Malka Kripor and Phil Aust had intended to retire upon the store's closing, but their plans changed on Tuesday, Aug. 12, when they learned that the new tenant had changed its plans to open in the storefront, Kripor explained."We need our customers," she said. "We will fill up the space all over again until the space is rented again."The store, at 8404 Greenwood Ave. N., will keep its hours - 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. on Sundays - until further notice, Kripor said.Anyone with inquiries about renting the storefront should call Kripor at 789-0853.[[In-content Ad]]
