The Gyuto Buddhist monks from Dharsamsala, India make their way to Seattle for a performance on April 13, at St. Mark's Cathedral at 7:30 pm.
The performance is part of the monks' residence from April 11 - 15, where the will construct a sacred sand mandala at the McCaw Chapel.
Following the mandala's completion, the monks will ceremoniously dismantle and deconsecrate the work, offering the sand to a local body of water. The public is also invited to attend the closing ritual on April 14 at 5 p.m.
