Dems' postelection wrap-up set for Nov. 15

Sen. Jeanne Kohl-Welles (D-36th Legislative District) will hold her 14th annual postelection-analysis fundraiser Thursday, Nov. 15, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Hale's Ale Brewery & Pub, 4301 Leary Ave. N.W. A panel of public officials and political commentators and pollsters will be analyzing the 2007 election results and their implications for the 2008 elections.

With KIRO-TV reporter Bob Branom as moderator, the panelists will include Rep. Helen Sommers (D-Magnolia); Ron Reagan, political commentator and 36th District resident; Kelly Evans, campaign consultant; David Goldstein, Horsesass.com blogger; James Kelly, executive director, Urban League of Metropolitan Seattle; Dwight Pelz, State Democrats Party Chair; and Dave Ross, KIRO-710 AM talkshow host and erstwhile Congressional candidate.

And just to share the wealth, the 36th District Democrats will be holding their own seventh annual Silent Auction.
