Review extended for zoo plan

Seattle Parks and Recreation has extended the review period for the Draft Revised Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) on the proposed long-range plan for Woodland Park Zoo.

To ensure a response in the Final Revised EIS, written comments must be received by Aug. 30.

Comments may be submitted electronically, accessible from the zoo's website, www.zoo.org, or sent to Jim Maxwell, Project Manager, Woodland Park Zoo, 601 N. 59th St., Seattle, WA 98103-5858.

The Draft Revised EIS and the long-range plan are available at the zoo administrative office at Building No. 1, 601 N. 59th St.; at the Fremont, Greenwood and Wallingford libraries; and at the Fremont and Greenwood neighborhood service centers.
