The Kirkland Boys & Girls Club offers a wide variety of spring leagues, spring camps and summer day camps (listed in next month's Courier) for kids ages 4 to 14. Spring and summer camps run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. with an early drop-off at 7:30 a.m. and late pick-up at 6 p.m. for an additional charge.

SPRING CAMPS, LEAGUES
Spring Break Day Camp: April 11-15, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. Before and after care available. Basketball, soccer, baseball and floor hockey. Ages 6-12.
Micro-Soccer League: 3-on-3 play beginning week of June 20. One night a week at local elementary schools. Ages 4-5 and 6-7.
Spring Basketball League: Begins April 18. Teams divided by girls and boys in grades 3/4 and 5/6. Held at Boys and Girls Club.
Introduction to Tae Kwan Do: Six-week session begins May 10. Will train for yellow belt. Grades K-6, Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-7 p.m.
Pee Wee Soccer: Begins May 13 for boys and girls ages 3-5. Held at Boys and Girls Club.
Miracle League Baseball: Designed for disabled children. Special set of rules encourage fun play; buddies assist in hitting, fielding and running the bases. May 7-June 18, Saturdays at 10 a.m. Held at Boys and Girls Club.
Track and Field: Begins April 19, Tuesdays and Thursdays 5:30-7 p.m. at Kirkland Junior High. Grades 1-6.
Rock Climbing: May 13-June 17, two early evening sessions available, Fridays. Ages 6-12. Held at Boys and Girls Club indoor climbing wall.

KIRKLAND PARKS SPRING SPORTS CAMPS
Spring break rock climbing clinic for ages 10-17. This is a two-day (April 11 and 12, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.) clinic designed for beginning to intermediate climbers. Students will learn to tie into a harness, set up a belay system, use correct rope handling skills, give proper belay signals and be introduced to various climbing techniques.
