Cubmaster Tony Grega holds up a copy of the May 11 Herald-Outlook issue that featured the Cub Scouts, which was later inserted into the time capsule.
The time capsule, which marked the pack's 75th anniversary, was buried at Bryant Elementary School, 3311 N.E. 60th St., on May 15, along with a scrapbook of individual Cub Scout's memories. The pack will tend to a garden that will grow above the capsule and then unearth it in 25 years.
The pack has been meeting at Bryant since its first meeting in 1929. It is now one of the oldest Cub Scout packs in the country.[[In-content Ad]]
