The event, which will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. at Mount Zion Baptist Church (1634 19th Ave.), will feature NFL Super Bowl champion Reggie Jones as the guest speaker.
Scholarship recipients include Garfield High School’s Mariah Beverly, Jaybrie Brown, Jaelyn Givens and Dajeanne Washington; Hazen High School’s Adonis Shareef; Rainier Beach High School’s Nadine Middlebrooks; and University Prep’s Syade Shields.
