Rediscover city’s trails on National Trails Day

The first Saturday in June (June 7) is a perfect time to discover, celebrate and learn about trails in the city as part of National Trails Day.

This year, Seattle Parks and Recreation and community partners such as the Student Conservation Association are joining together to raise awareness around trails and to restore and maintain them.

Seattle Parks and Recreation will celebrate National Trails Day with a restoration project from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Frink Park (398 Lake Washington Blvd. S.) in Leschi. Volunteers should meet at the kiosk at 30th Avenue South and South Jackson Street.
