ACA enrollment help available at libraries

The Seattle Public Library, Public Health – Seattle and King County and a number of community-based agencies are collaborating to offer free Affordable Care Act program enrollment assistance at local library branches.

Trained staff from community agencies will answer questions and assist with enrollment in Affordable Care Act programs.

Library patrons who wish to enroll in an insurance plan should bring:

•Social Security numbers for all household members;

•Birthdates for all household members;

•Their most recent income information; and

•Their Green Card numbers (if applicable).

Drop-in assistance will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Assistance will be available at the times and locations listed below:

•Central Library (1000 Fourth Ave., 206-386-4636) — Fridays, Nov. 21-Feb. 13, from 1 to 5 p.m.

•Ballard Branch (5614 22nd Ave. N.W., 206-684-4089) — Wednesdays, Nov. 19-Feb. 11, from 3 to 7 p.m.

•Douglass-Truth Branch (2300 E. Yesler Way, 206-684-4704) — Fridays, Nov. 21-Feb. 13, from 1 to 5 p.m.

•Beacon Hill Branch (2821 Beacon Ave. S., 206-684-4711) — Mondays, Nov. 17-Feb. 9, from 1 to 5 p.m.
