The Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Visitor Center (440 Fifth Ave. N.) is giving curious Seattlelites a behind-the-scenes look at some of the unique solutions our city is responsible for.Â
For the 10th-anniversary of the Grand Challenges in Global Health initiative, a catalyst for advanced solutions, the Gates Foundation’s Visitor Center will host Innovation Day, a free celebration and exploration of award-winning inventions designed to help improve lives around the world, on Saturday, Oct. 4.
Guests will be able to see cutting-edge, prototype demonstrations, design their own tools and hear from some featured innovators, like Hippo Water Roller Project, Washington FIRST Robotics and Pacific Science Center.
