Soma Smoothie bike stolen from garage

July 2

GTA: At 9:25 p.m., an auto theft was reported on the 200 block of Lake Washington Boulevard E.

PROWL: A car prowl believed to have taken place 10 p.m. was reported in the 2600 block of E. Helen St.

July 5

PROWL: At 1:34 a.m. a car prowl was reported in the 1600 block of 39th Ave.

BURGLARY: Shortly before 8 a.m. an officer was dispatched to a residence in the 1500 block of 42nd Ave. E. regarding a burglary complaint. The victim reported her house was burglarized while her family was out of town, sometime between the afternoon of July 1 and their return at 7:30 a.m. July 5. On their return, they discovered two rear doors were left ajar and the master bedroom had been messily ransacked. Several pieces of jewelry were missing. There was no sign of forced entry and it’s possible the doors were left unlocked. The officer was able to lift prints from a rear door and take photos of the scene.

July 8

BURGLARY: At approximately 12:40 p.m., a patrolling officer was summoned to investigate a burglary report in the 2800 block of E. Thomas St. The victim reported someone had stolen her bicycle from her garage sometime between June 27 and July 4. The blue Soma Smoothie was valued at $700. The victim suspected the previous owner of her house, who had since become transient, was known for stealing bikes and had previously entered the house when the doors were left unlocked. However, the victim said she lacked proof that this person had taken the bicycle.

CAR PROWL: Items were stolen from a vehicle at approximately 5;30 p.m. on the 400 block of 39th Ave. E.

July 16

DAMAGED: At 1:08 p.m., a resident of the 1900 block of 42nd Ave. E. reported property damage to their home that had occurred two days prior.

July 18

THEFT: At 11 a.m., a complainant reported they had been the victim of theft on the 1900 block of 43rd Ave. E. the day prior.

July 21

FRAUD: At 8:47 a.m., a resident reported frasud at a location in the 4000 block of E. Madison St.

July 23

BURGLARY: At approximately 11:33 p.m., a home in the 1500 block of 41st Ave. E. was reported to have been burglarized.

July 26

TRESPASS: Trespassing was reported t 10:23 p.m. on the 1600 block of 38th Ave. E.
