According to an SPD Blotter post, officers responded to reports of gun shots and a car chasing another vehicle near 23rd Avenue and East Union Street aroundMonday, March 20. Police report two homes were struck by gunfire, but no one was injured. The suspect arrested had been identified that night by SPD Gang Unit detectives, according to the blotter post. The man is a convicted felon and not legally allowed to possess a firearm.
The suspect was booked into King County Jail for investigation for assault, unlawful possession of a firearm and narcotics possession, for a small amount of crack cocaine found in his possession, according to police.
