Sawant to address Leschi Community Council on Sept. 5

District 3 Seattle City Councilmember Kshama Sawant will be the guest of honor during the Sept. 5 meeting of the Leschi Community Council.

Sawant had previously been booked to address residents at the LCC, but had to reschedule.

The councilmember was asked to speak about increasing city revenue through businesses before the meeting is opened up for questions from the public.

The Leschi Community Council meeting starts 7 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 5, at the Central Area Senior Center, 500 30th Ave. S.
