Seattle Department of Neighborhoods launches Community Resource Hub

The Seattle Department of Neighborhoods has created an online Community Resource Hub to help residents engage with city government and organize their neighborhoods.

The online portal has information, engagement and organizational sections for people to find out about outreach, share ideas, community organize, sign up for newsletters and find government and community resources.

“The city has so many valuable resources available that we wanted to create a ‘one-stop shop’ to make it easier for community members,” said DON director Kathy Nyland in a news release.

The online portal will soon have added links to resources, such as city updates, volunteer and grant opportunities, and where to find community spaces for meetings.
