WSDOT hosting SR 520 Trail grand opening on May 20

#WSDOT will celebrate the grand opening of the State Route 520 Trail 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday, May 20, starting at the western trailhead, 2802 E. Park Drive E. 

#There will be a short ceremony at 11 a.m. to acknowledge community partners, including the Cascade Bicycle Club, followed by an informal ribbon-cutting for 520 Day. 

#The community project opened in December and spans the entire 520 bridge over Lake Washington. The transportation department counted more than 1,800 cyclists the first day it opened.
