Honey Deux opens in Madison Valley
The overdue Honey Deux is open in Madison Valley, providing retail and express services that are expected to grow as the skincare business nears a November grand opening.
Business partners Megan Sevcik and Erin Date spent months working on the retail expansion of Honey Skin Spa next door, soft opening Honey Deux on Sept. 22.
While the spa is tucked in a plaza, Honey Deux is providing prime frontage on East Madison Street, Sevcik said, drawing in new customers and awareness.
“That’s what’s cool,” she said, “because we’re introducing a lot of people to Honey.”
Honey Deux has a number of skincare products for sale, including the duo’s Well Beyond Beauty line, as well as Dream porcelain diffusers.
A custom curtain is being made for the bed where Honey Deux clients can receive less time-consuming skin treatments and other express services, including lash lifts and brow and lip waxing.
“What’s really popular now is lash and brow bars,” Sevcik said.
Honey Deux’s menu currently includes three mini-facial options, LED light therapy and an oxygen bar.
“We’re taking aspects of our favorite things at Honey and doing mini facials here,” Sevcik said. “We’re also going to offer full body waxings. That’s something that we’ve never done.”
There will also be vegan and organic manicures offered soon.
“We’re getting one of the greatest manicurists in the city.”
Honey Deux is open 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Tuesday-Sunday at 2816 E. Madison St., and will have extended hours after the Nov. 10 grand opening, where Sevcik said she’s planning some giveaways and gift packages in time for the holidays.
She’d wanted to be open by late summer, but lost some time helping her husband, Rob Sevcik, who had to close his French restaurant in Madison Valley, Petite Galerie, several weeks ago, and also with getting contractors to work on the space.
“It just took longer because I knew what I wanted it to look like,” said Sevcik, who handled the interior design herself. “I wanted everything to be quiet and soft.”
