A group of HNTB engineers from the Bellevue office shared their career experiences and presented on the topic of noise mitigation to high school students during a Women’s Transportation Seminar Transportation YOU luncheon at Franklin High School in Seattle and Sammamish High School in Bellevue.
Transportation YOU is a WTS initiative that introduces high school students to career options in the transportation field. HNTB also facilitated a hands-on activity where students designed noise barriers out of various materials to mitigate sound. HNTB is a major supporter of the WTS Puget Sound Chapter.
