Mayor Jenny Durkan will begin a weekly series of virtual town hall meetings to connect with Seattle residents about their specific needs during the COVID-19 pandemic. The first meeting, for the central Seattle community, will take place from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. Thursday, April 23. Residents can join the meeting from any personal computer or mobile device browser with this link.

Representatives from the Department of Neighborhoods, Office of Economic Development, Office of Labor Standards, Human Services Department, Office of Housing, Office of Sustainability & Environment, Seattle Public Utilities and Seattle City Light will join Durkan in the town hall.

A webinar will immediately follow the town hall, where people will get to work with city department staff and learn about essential services, resources and other support available to residents and businesses.

In the coming weeks, the city will schedule town halls for north, south and west Seattle residents.
